We finally have a date for this year’s dress distribution event and we are so excited! Our event will take place on April 14th at Destiny Plaza.
Prom is an important time for any high school student… and it can also be an expensive occasion. To alleviate some of the cost, The Gadzuric Foundation has created the Cinderella Project MKE, which will collect and distribute donated prom dresses to young women throughout the Milwaukee area. These young ladies will gain confidence and interact with community leaders by attending empowerment and self esteem workshops throughout the day. cinderella prom dresses
To date we have provided over 1100 girls with self esteem workshops and FREE prom dresses! We are only able to do this because of our amazing volunteers and sponsors. Here is how you can help…
Monetary donations- can be made through paypal and are tax deductible
Examples of some of our expenses every year:
Fitting rooms $900
Food & Beverage $300
Plus size gowns $2000+ (these are rarely donated)
Volunteering- all volunteer opportunities will be posted on our facebook page.
Be a fairy Godmother- women over 18 only
Hair and Makeup artists (please email me directly if you would like to help with this)
Set up and take down- any age/gender
In Kind donations & gift Certificates
Food
Hair/makeup/spa
Beauty supply store
Limo
Host a dress drive at your business or school
We provide flyer & poster PDF and dress racks or barrel for collections
We will post your participation on our facebook and instagram page as well as any press that we do this year.
We need help telling schools and girls about our event!
