The kampung (village) is situated along the Temerloh / Jerantut road, about 14km from Temerloh town.
Established initially as a flood relieve centre for the areas of Kerdau, Sanggang and Sonsang in 1973, the village has since grown into a a quaint and structured settlement. The main activity here is agriculture. It is a perfect setting for a relaxed retreat while indulging in the special packaged treats that come with the Desa Murni Homestay programme.
Visitors will be able to immerse in the daily activities that serve as the lifeline of the village, including the making of snacks, noodles and chili sauce. You can observe the skills of the villagers while they deftly turn jungle products such as rattan and straw into fine handicrafts.
